Overview:Alvin McLane, a retired archeologist and an experienced hiker joins hosts Dave and Chris on this trip in Nevada’s Esmeralda County. They set out from the town of Tonopah, heading for the canyons at Clayton Ridge. On the second day of the trip, the trio drives west to the Esmeralda Badlands, in the foothills of the Monte Cristo Range. The trip concludes in Silverpeak.
