Overview:In the cave of the Beati Paoli, Luca Corbara protests for his innocence, but is locked up in a cell from which he escapes successfully. He finds refuge at Santelia's house and, on the occasion of a dance, finally manages to hug Laura again. Hope is rekindled for the two lovers.
